LASSO is a highly successful CRM software option for home builders who desire to stay in contact with potential buyers. Within LASSO is a mass email module which allows the user to create custom templates which are saved and can then be used to create an email blast to chosen recipients. The database of potential buyers has sort filters allowing custom mailing lists to be created. This particular mass email software has scalable billing each month with preset total email blast recipient quantities for a budgeted price.

However, the difficulty raised in using a particular CRM software is that if it is widely used by many customers, there is a risk of that company’s IP addresses being flagged by Google or other email providers as a SPAM address. There are ways to prevent that from happening but the expense of acquiring new IPs to avoid this status can be costly and inefficient.

This client had us sending 100,000 outbound emails per month for them and the various open rates, unsubscribes, clicks, etc. were affected because the CRM software’s IPs had been flagged and it affected the open rates.

There are specific ways to create subject lines, key words to avoid, certain content not to include in the body of the email and a list of other criteria to follow in order to increase open rates.
