“After 13 years of sales and marketing in 27 different countries exceeding $160mm in revenue, I decided to start my own sales and marketing company specializing in the import and export of goods and services. Thus was born the original company name combinging my last name and PORT.”

1999 – 2003
START OF HESSPORT
Founded in Ocala, Florida after founder, Patrick Hess, resigned as VP International Sales & Marketing of Mark III Industries ($100mm automotive conversion company). Within 6 months the marketing consulting company acquired an exclusive contract with Rubik’s Cube® to be their eCommerce and Fulfillment vendor.
FACTOIDS
Used international business experience as foundation to acquire Rubik’s Cube® based in the U.K.
Custom built eCommerce sites and built a DATABRIDGE to establish first generation integration with USPS Priority Mail for eFulfillment services.
Added Skinny Pill®, ReadyBed®, and Bed, Bath and Beyond® in addition to regional clients seeking a marketing consulting partner.
2004 – 2012
NEW INDIANA OPERATIONS
After selling the warehouse fulfillment division in Florida, operations were relocated to Indiana where the DBA Day 6 Design was introduced. Services expanded to offer Photography, Video Production, Web Applications, and Graphic Design & Printing in addition to the well established Web Development and Design services.
FACTOIDS
Opened retail division with a full service studio to provide Professional Photography.
Opened Graphic Design and full Video Production services for B2B marketing consulting clients.
Created and developed three Web Applications for use in the non-profit industry.
2013 – NOW
OPENED MUSIC DIVISION
While continuing to service local and regional clients, the company expanded service offerings to include Music Consulting and launched several indie artist careers. Investing in new capital assets and further educating staff on new technologies, the company acquired several years of Digital Marketing expertise with emphasis on Social Media strategies.

Opened Day 6 Management and Day 6 Records.
Expanded photography and videography services including drone and 360 video.
Developed integrated social media marketing tools for easier analytical study.

After marketing over 40 unique products in 27 countries since the late 80’s, the lessons learned by founder, Patrick Hess, on how to promote a niche product in a specific marketplace were a valuable foundation in opening this business.



The principles of marketing are transferable to every industry in business. Our purpose is to share those learned lessons so our clients don’t have to go at it alone. We not only share them, but we take on the responsibility of imagining for you.
