Day 6 Agency - Music Consulting

In the early career of artist Spencer Kane, the cause of bullying became an important marketing centerpiece. As such, an alliance with formed with Spencer and Pacer.org which is a national leader in bullying prevention. Spencer became a Pacer ambassador to schools in the U.S. and during his concerts at schools, he would represent resources available from PACER to help youth and schools to combat bullying through education and practical examples.

This partnership was a mutually beneficial marketing tool for both the artist and organization. It provided national exposure to Spencer via the Pacer website and drove many youth to check out his music.

The 13 artists in this playlist have all been developed in some way by Day 6 Management via our music consulting services.

Depending on the artist’s genre, we may arrange specific training to improve their live show or how to engage with media. Things like proper vocal technique, balancing day to day private life with career demands, where to invest their time at different times of their development, etc.

An artist is never fully developed because there will always be someone who has achieved more success in some way. However, teaching an artist how to build on successes and failures is a career long process that evolves with the music industry and trends that occur.

Many times when an artist participates in a project that is not their own, the entitled royalties they are owed may not be distributed in a timely manner from the masters owner. There are lost revenues to artists as a result.

Finding ways to license a song owned by an artist is also a publishing benefit that many artists are not pursuing. TV Commercials, shows, films, radio spots, etc. are all publishing revenue sources that are available to an artist.
